"Wits End"

1996, oil on canvas - 36x60x48"

This work, expresses the condition I find myself in all too often a state of being at the end of myself, my apparent inability to think clearly or rationally. What do I do next? How do I change this? How do I get out of here? I don't know, I don't know, is the only answer that comes back to my question.
“Wits End” is intended to convey the frustration I have felt most of my life, but in a humorous way. At least I get a laugh out of it.
